Easley's Summer Concert Series Has Ended, and Fall Weekends Now Split Between City Hall and the Mill Yard

The 2026 Rock at the Clock schedule listed five Saturdays at the Old Market Square Amphitheater, 201 S. 1st St. The last was Sept. 26. The next Saturday on the City of Easley's calendar is Oct. 17. The Sunday shows are where the plan for the season starts to change.

Summer in Easley had one organizer and one address. The city ran a free monthly concert on the amphitheater stage, and residents knew where to show up. Fall has more than one organizer. The City of Easley and the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce hold a short list of dated Saturdays around City Hall and downtown. Southern Weaving Food Hall, in a converted textile mill on Fern Street, lists its own shows, and the ones on the calendar right now land on Sundays. Read side by side, the two schedules rarely compete for the same afternoon.

The Saturdays the City Has Claimed

These are the fall dates posted on the city's and the Chamber's event pages as of Sept. 29.

Date Event Where Who runs it
Sat., Oct. 3 Historic Easley Fall Festival, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. N. 1st Street, next to City Hall City of Easley
Sat., Oct. 17 Movies on the Green Easley City Green, in front of City Hall City of Easley
Sat., Nov. 21 Movies on the Green Easley City Green, in front of City Hall City of Easley
Sat., Dec. 12 Christmas Parade of Lights, 6 p.m. Downtown Easley Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce

The Oct. 3 festival was listed with local craft vendors, food, family activities, games and bounce houses. Movies on the Green is free, comes with popcorn and water while supplies last, and invites you to bring your own dinner and eat picnic-style on the lawn. It runs on the third Saturday of September, October and November, so the September edition has already come and gone. The city's page did not list film titles when I looked, so the movie itself is a question for the week of.

The Christmas Parade of Lights has a fixed rule behind it. The Chamber hosts it on the second Saturday of December at 6 p.m., which is how Dec. 12 falls out this year.

The Easley Farmers Market also sits beside City Hall on Saturday mornings. Its 2026 season opened May 9 in the parking lot next to City Hall, and the Oct. 3 festival is also next to City Hall. The city's festival page did not say how the two shared that block on festival morning.

Three other city events do not have 2026 dates yet. Last year's Treats on the Street ran Friday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. downtown. The city's tree lighting was Friday, Nov. 28, and its Holiday Market was Saturday, Dec. 6, at Larry Bagwell Gym on Walkers Way. Those are last year's dates, and this year's had not been posted on the city's event pages.

Every confirmed city date is a Saturday, apart from the ones still waiting on a posting. That leaves the Sundays open.

What Southern Weaving Schedules Around Them

Southern Weaving Food Hall at 210 Fern St. sits just off the Doodle Trail. When The Post and Courier covered its opening in July 2025, the partners were Brandon Sheehan, Brett Maynard and Taft Wirthlin. The hall launched with six food and drink concepts, and the outdoor amphitheater behind it was renovated to seat more than 700 people in front of a 40-foot stage.

The hall's current site names MacDaddy's, Doodle Noodle, Ice Cream Factory and the Taphouse among its vendors, and describes a calendar of live music, trivia, chef pop-ups and seasonal festivals. Its 2025 launch lineup included other concepts, and vendors change, so the site is the place to check who is serving on a given day.

The upcoming listings are worth reading by the day of the week. A concert listing for the venue shows these shows:

  • Sunday, Oct. 11, 2 p.m., Jackson Truluck
  • Sunday, Oct. 25, 2 p.m., Jackson Truluck

That listing comes from a concert aggregator, so treat the times as a starting point and confirm them with the venue. The two upcoming listed shows are Sunday afternoons, on Oct. 11 and Oct. 25; neither day has a city event listed. Oct. 17 belongs to Movies on the Green, and no show is listed at Southern Weaving that weekend.

The hall also runs weeknight events. Music Video Bingo was on the calendar for Thursday, Sept. 17. A posted schedule from Apple Maps shows the hall open Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m., and closed Mondays. Confirm the hours before a weeknight visit, since a map listing can lag behind the venue.

A Sunday That Uses Both Ends of Town

The pieces fit together on Oct. 11 or Oct. 25, when the listing shows a 2 p.m. start.

  1. Brunch on West Main. West End Supper Club at 413 W. Main St. opened this spring, and WSPA reported Sunday brunch hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In an interview with WSPA, owner Mike Miller, who also runs The Hideout, Taco Taco and Iron Horse Steamers in Easley, described the concept this way: "We wanted to do something kind of nicer in Easley." The hours were posted in April, so a phone call before you go is worth the minute.
  2. A stretch of the Doodle Trail. Park at Doodle Park, 514 Fleetwood Drive, where the trailhead has a playground, outdoor fitness equipment, restrooms and a shelter. The trail is open dawn to dusk, and the city describes the full Easley-to-Pickens route as 8.5 miles. A short out-and-back covers plenty of ground before the afternoon show. The dawn-to-dusk rule gets tighter each week as the days shorten, so an early-afternoon ride is the safer bet.
  3. The 2 p.m. set at Southern Weaving. The food hall sits just off the trail, so the ride can end at the amphitheater. Order at MacDaddy's, Doodle Noodle or the Ice Cream Factory, or pour something from the Taphouse, and settle in for the show.

The plan works because the two calendars land on different days.

The Weeks the City Leaves Open

Look at the gaps on the city's list. Nothing dated is posted between Oct. 4 and Oct. 16, between Oct. 18 and Nov. 20, or between Nov. 22 and Dec. 11, apart from whatever the city posts for its Halloween, tree-lighting and Holiday Market dates. Those stretches are long, and other venues have room to fill them.

The Silos of Easley at 122 Folger St. is built around decommissioned grain silos and describes restaurants and social spaces on its site. Eventbrite's Easley guide lists it among the venues with live music on weekend evenings, along with On The Rail Bar & Grill. The same guide mentions weekly trivia and bingo at The Pint Station, a downtown taproom, and community theater at the Foothills Playhouse in the Historic West End Hall.

The practical result for a resident is a two-step check. Start with the City of Easley's event pages for the Saturday dates and the ones still to be posted. Then look at the Southern Weaving and Silos calendars for the Sundays and the open weeks in between. Between them, the season runs from the Oct. 3 festival to the Dec. 12 parade, with weekends to spare on either side.
